Life is Good
Spring is my favorite time of the year. Simple pleasures make it so wonderful, and keep me full of wonder - spending time outdoors, pruning the lemon tree, checking out the first roses of the year, seeing what survived the winter freeze, watching the buds, blossoms and leaves form. Mornings are cool and moist and full of life. I must make time to visit the rookery at Lake Martin and see the egrets and herons courting and nesting.

i love spring as well, the birth of new life....my fave is autumn, the cool of the day, the wonder of life beginning to hibernate....LOVE your choice in music, especially sonny.....and how about lucinda williams, another louisiana wonder....tommy miller, from here in monroe, crossraids his album, john mayall, savoy brown, and no one compares to otis redding....great movie choices as well....do watch the Last Waltz, the dvd of the Bands last performance in 1976, filmed by martin scorsese.....have a great day! ken
